C# .Net Mobile Messaging Developer (based in Singapore)
As part of a development team expansion we are hiring a C# .NET Developer for Mobile Messaging Platforms based in our office in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- To further develop the company's mobile messaging platform (SMS, MMS, WAP)
- To upgrade existing and integrate new carrier and provider connections
- To develop a new customer support web interface, for reporting and billing
- To provide third level technical support to our partners and customers, including troubleshooting, debugging and testing of mobile solutions
Requirements
- A diploma/degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in web and client/server application development using C# on the .NET Framework
- At least 2 years relevant experience in the mobile communications industry working with SMS, MMS, Wap Push and SMS connectivity integration
- Must be proficient using Visual Studio .NET
- Must have experience in database driven applications – SQL Server
- Must be proficient in writing SQL stored procedures
- JavaScript, AJAX experience a plus
- Existing work experience in US, Europe or here in Singapore highly favorable
Product Marketing Manager (based in Singapore)
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for your products. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
- Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
- Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Market intelligence - be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
- Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
Requirements
- 5+ years of mobile or internet product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role

Business Development Manager (based in Singapore)
Wavecell is looking for a Business Development Manager for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional selling Wavecell's mobile messaging services to Enterprises and Mobile Carriers. The role is focused purely on new business (both local and overseas) and is suited to people who are 'sales hungry' and who can exploit their exceptional sales skills with effective and successful results.
Key Responsibilities
- You will develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for Wavecell to an agreed annual revenue target, to increase year on year
- You will be expected to spend most of your time out of the office in meetings and responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close
- Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to Wavecell are captured and explored
- You will have individual responsibility for new business, and are expected to self manage, however, you will have support from the managing and sales director for complex large pitches and strategies
- As a representative of Wavecell at industry events and trade-shows, your professional manner and polished appearance will aid your intention of gaining new business leads and contacts
- Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is kept up to date
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation
- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in the mobile or internet industry with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role
- Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal'
- Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises
- Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
- A positive attitude to dealing with people
- Very strong written communication skills
