Olivier Gerhardt is Wavecell's founding CEO, leveraging over a decade of experience in the mobile messaging and payments industry. Prior to co-founding Wavecell, Olivier spent ten years at Sybase 365, the world's largest mobile messaging and payments provider, where he was initially an International Business Development Manager and later from 2005 Sales Director for France. Olivier joined Nortel Networks in 1998 as an International Presales Manager. Olivier actively participates in the technology industry, helping fund and advise several companies in the telecom, internet and financial services industries. He holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Telecom Lille, France and completed an International Marketing Programme at INSEAD.

As Wavecell's Chief Commercial Officer and co-founder, Olivier Magaud brings over ten years of experience in the mobile payment and messaging industry after heading sales in the South East Asia region until 2008 at Sybase 365, the world's largest mobile services provider. Prior to that Olivier was a Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where he worked with mobile operators in France, The Netherlands and Singapore. Olivier is a general partner at Nozara, a mobile and internet investment firm and technology incubator. He founded in 2009 Krystal Capital Management, an equity option risk management fund. Olivier holds a Master's Degree in telecommunication and mobile engineering from Esigetel Fontainebleau, France.
